We pride ourselves on the food we serve at Germanfest.
We have the “Best of the Wurst” from an authentic German based Sausage maker. This year we are featuring Nurnberger wurst, Weisswurst, Smoked Bratwurst, Beer Bratwurst, Kaiserwurst and Knackwurst. We also will feature Rouladen. Our Senf (Mustard) even comes from Germany!
Our salats include Gherkin (Cucumber) German Potato salat, Rott (Red) cabbage salat, and of course, our own version of Sauerkraut.
Topping all of this off is our famous Dessert Buffet, consisting of a wide variety of goodies for those not calorie conscious!
Bier and Wine
Our Bier and Wine is of course imported. All of our Bier is “vom fass”, i.e. Draft. This year’s Bier is from the famous HOFBRAUHAUS in Munich, and we will feature the following: Classic Lager, Oktoberfest, Weissbier, and a perennial favorite, “Dunkel”.
Our Wein/Wine broker always searches for the best Wein—at as an affordable price as possible from such areas as the Rhein, Nahe, and Mosel valleys. Of course, being German, Reisling is the most prevalent. We usually will have a Kabinett, Spatlese, and Auslese. However, we don’t forget our red wine drinkers and usually have both a sweet and dry Dornfelder.
No patron will be admitted if it is apparent he/she is under the influence of alcohol prior to admittance. Any person leaving the building/tent shall not be readmitted.
There will be a 4-drink limit for all individuals — there is to be no drink sharing, or otherwise utilizing another patron’s drink quota. No one under the age of 21 allowed to attend. ID must be presented, if requested. We reserve the right to deny the sale of alcohol to any individual for any reason, at any time. No alcohol is to be drunk/possessed on the premises, other than that purchased on the premises.
